Vigilant Technologies LLC has an opening for the position of Oracle Financials Consultant (Ref# OFC113VM).
Work Location: 1050 Wilshire Drive, Suite 307, Troy, MI 48084. Position may telecommute/work remotely 3 days per week.
Job Duties: Responsible for the implementation and support of Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Plan, analyze, design, implement, test, and migrate Oracle Financials modules. Work closely with business users to gather requirements and organize information on current business processes and procedures and documents findings. Analyze findings to design solutions which solve specific business problems related to financial and accounting systems. Prepare functional specifications documents using Oracle methodology, company procedures, and industry best practices. Present recommendations for implementation of new systems and procedures, as well as business process redesign. Plan, design, and configure Oracle Cloud ERP system for implementation, upgrade, and roll-out projects. Work with developers to integrate Oracle ERP with other 3rd party systems and custom solutions. Confer with business and project management to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures, user acceptance testing, and training. Coordinate with the technical team to build the solution and develop the test strategy, test plan, and project plan and support the development and execution of UAT (user acceptance testing) test cases. Use of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud Financials (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, etc.), Toad, SQL Developer, and PL/SQL.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Will accept a Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. A combination of foreign post-secondary education determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree is acceptable. Position requires 2 years of experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and PL/SQL. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
