Overview:

As a Commercial Master Plumber working within the federal/military space, you will hold a position of expertise and leadership, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems critical to military operations. Your role involves providing guidance, technical support, and training to plumbing personnel while ensuring compliance with military regulations and standards. This is a hands-on role that requires both supervision and direct field work.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision:

  • Lead and supervise a team of commercial plumbers, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and compliant with all code and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to plumbing personnel, fostering skill development and proficiency.
  • Must be able to plan, coordinate and execute plumbing projects that meet cost, schedule and performance goal.

Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in plumbing techniques, materials, and technologies to oversee complex installations and repairs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with federal, state and local regulations, codes, and safety standards, per the customers statement of work.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify the integrity, functionality, and compliance of plumbing installations and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Master Plumber license is required.
  • Extensive experience as a commercial plumber, with a focus on leadership and supervisory roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and standards applicable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Physical ability to perform duties in various environments and conditions
  • Able to use MS Office suite of tools (Word, Excel and PP)
  • Ability to travel extensively for several weeks to months at a time.
