SSOE is looking to hire an Architectural Designer to join our team allowing the selected individual with the opportunity to participate in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for the world's leading companies. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for working with other contributing mid-senior level Architects and design teams to create exciting and complex designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Analyzes sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings. Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems. Works under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion. Solves design problems but is expected to need assistance. May perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts. May have minimal external customer contact. Travel required.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor degree-tracked in engineering or architectural fields preferred. Minimum three (3) years experience with SSOE as a Designer or four (4) years related designer experience with former employer(s). Proficiency in the use of a computer for drafting and design applications required. REVIT experience required. Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 /year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
