Job Summary

Indirect spend relates to the purchase of goods and services that are not directly incorporated into a product. It touches almost every area of the business, from our IT systems, energy suppliers and temporary labor partners, through to cutting tools and travel. This Buyer position requires both strategic thinking and operational execution of business requirements. You support the implementation of sourcing strategies to achieve lowest total costs and quality improvement as well as contract negotiations. You will also work closely together with internal stakeholders and teams alongside the key suppliers to assure that cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the local representative in the global commodity group. • Responsibility to achieve globally set goals • Contract responsible for all temporary labor and consultant suppliers as well as all operational activities • Work closely with HR department • General administration and support the procurement function • Be a part of and manage the entire process of each purchase • Manage and build relationships with selected key suppliers to hold them accountable for meeting improvement objectives from a strategic and tactical perspective • Analyse and track projects and initiatives to ensure that the commodity meet performance/cost reduction targets

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial, Operations Management or equivalent experience • Experience in Supply Chain and/or procurement • Experience from temporary labor administration • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications: • Good analytical skills, an understanding of manufacturing, lean manufacturing principles, and strong relation skills. • Good communications skills • Attention to detail with clear ability to see the bigger picture • Analytical and negotiation skills
