Evergreen Natural Resources Electrician in Trinidad, Colorado
Position: Electrician
Summary: Evergreen Natural Resources electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on Natural gas compression, VFD's, equipment, main facility, ensuring the proper function of equipment while adhering to strict safety regulations and industry standards, often working in challenging environments like or remote locations; their duties include preventative maintenance, electrical system upgrades, and responding to electrical emergencies and any other responsibilities given by supervisor. Key responsibilities: Installation and maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical components like SCADA equipment, motors, generators, transformers, Heat trace, control panels, wiring, and lighting systems on oil and gas wells. Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose electrical malfunctions, identify faulty components, and perform repairs to restore equipment functionality. Preventative maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure operational reliability. Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures related to working with Low/high voltage equipment and hazardous environments. Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed records of electrical system inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Technical expertise: Understand computer software, electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex systems. Emergency response: Respond to electrical emergencies on site, including power outages and equipment failures.
Work environments: Facilities: Working at or around natural gas processing plants, Working well sites in harsh weather conditions. Required skills and qualifications: Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification preferred. Experience with industrial electrical systems, including high voltage equipment. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations in the oil and gas industry Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Physical stamina to work in demanding environments, including lifting up to 50 lbs. of heavy equipment.
Wage: $30 - $40 per hour, depending on experience Position is non-exempt Position is Full Time, 40 hours a week with possible overtime.
