Description
Position involves supervising employees in the production of company products to meet pre-established schedules by fostering employee involvement to achieve the highest level of safety, productivity and quality standards. Our Production Supervisors are accountable for leading, training, coaching and motivating a team to improve safety and quality, reduce cost, and deliver the highest level of customer service
Monitor and assure a safe work environment through process adherence and hazard elimination/mitigation(PPE, Lockout/Tag-out, Machine guarding, etc.) and hazard elimination/mitigation
Monitor and assure compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adherence to defined procedures
Drive results through effective communication, collaboration and accountability
Lead departmental strategy, innovation and continuous improvement while embracing change Develop talent to full potential through training, consistent feedback and coaching
Evaluate and document performance of employees, make recommendations for improvement, and apply the corrective action process, as required
Engage the team and lead the implementation of Lean tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, OEE, etc.).
Monitor and assure a safe work environment through process adherence
Assign work
Manage scheduled priorities and capacity to achieve the highest customer service level
Manage and maintain Inventory Accuracy through the TECO Process
Conduct team meetings and forums to share information
Manage attendance, vacation planning, payroll exception reports, and other relevant reports
Provide a level of service to internal customers in support corporate objectives
Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives
Qualifications
College degree or equivalent experience
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Must demonstrate a desire and ability to lead other people
Must be familiar with MS office and SAP applications preferred
Must be able to apply root cause analysis for problem solving
Must be able to work all shifts and all ELC locations as needed
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,150.00 to $88,600.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
