Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification Automation Customer Service (SI EA CS) Spain is a growing department that provides to its customers enduring service partnerships for Medium Voltage Equipment (M.V. Switchgears, M.V. Circuit Breakers, Inverters, Control and Protection Systems) that encompass Preventive Inspections, Repair Services, Spare parts, Monitoring and Diagnostics Systems, Modernization & Retrofits, Extensions, Service Contracts throughout a service lifecycle.

Our main goal is continue growing being close to the customer offering the best solutions to their challenges, to increase the availability, transparency, operation management and performance of their assets. We are looking for a Project Manager for the mentioned services portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for the execution of projects and works on-site coordination, being the main interface between our factories and suppliers, and the Customer.

What are the main responsibilities?

  • Order management

  • Responsible of the project’s economic, time, scope alignment and customer satisfaction results.

  • Analyze the technical and contractual information of the project/order and process any required clarification or negotiation either internally or externally with the customer.

  • Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted schedule in terms of design issuance, design approval, purchase of materials, production, testing, shipping, and commissioning up to the end of the warranty period.

  • To continue developing and improving the relationship with internal and external suppliers.

  • To clarify and answer technical enquiries.

  • Perform and manage the Project risks analysis, nonconformance cost and claim/changes.

  • Coordinate mitigation or preventive actions either internally or externally with the customer.

  • Keep a constant communication with the customer, reporting the pending issues and the status of the project.

  • EHS coordination.

  • Arrange with the customer meetings or factory visits for design reviews, inspections, factory tests, shipment and commissioning coordination.

Who are we looking for?

  • Industrial Engineer or similar with knowledge in electrical substations and medium and low voltage equipment.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written/spoken).

  • Project Management certification will be considered a plus.

  • Professional expertise in medium and low voltage switchgears.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools as user.

  • Basic knowledge of EHS.

  • Available to travel for business trip.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Time management skills.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Calm collected and collaborative work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.

  • To be proactive, taking initiative, defining actions, and getting things done.

  • Ability to identify problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

  • Strong customer focus on both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to meet demanding schedule requirements without compromising quality.

  • Teamwork capabilities.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work in a multinational environment.
