The Role
The Senior Lead Program Manager will be in a highly visible, strategic position within the new Infrastructure and Operations Modernization organization. This key position will support the Product and Ecosystem simplification effort in support of the larger commitment Lumen has made for realization by end of 2027. The Senior Lead Program Manager will drive migration strategy development and needed solutioning within the Enterprise Operations organization. The migration solution will include the processes, test, and training plan, and supporting documentation needed to implement the migration at scale while surpassing customer expectations. This role involves developing migration strategies for one of three segments: Connectivity / Transport, Voice, or Over the Top services, and identifying which segment they align best with to be able to lead an intermediate solutioning squad made up of subject matter experts this role will lead to drive needed results.

Location
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. with potential for 5-10% travel.
The Main Responsibilities
Understand and communicate the product and eco simplification strategy provided to the teams you will be leading.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all migration impacts are addressed and a gap analysis with an action plan is delivered.
Achieve quality results by leveraging all appropriate resources.
Provide consultative services to the impacted operations teams as well as the impacted business units.
Detail oriented leadership and communication as well as leadership level readouts.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience
8-10+ years of experience with focus in risk management, process architecture or engineering, or product migration strategy
Experience in the telecommunications industry and existing knowledge of Lumen products and services
Passionate and innovative with a proven track record of success; an action-oriented, strategic and creative thinker with a detailed focus on implementation and on-going execution of training programs in the field
Must be self-directed, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate and work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
Demonstrates aptitude for analyzing complex issues and developing the appropriate solutions
Ability to exhibit strong strategic planning and cross-functional partnership, providing tactical direction and driving a large team to achieve predefined metrics
Preferred
Subject matter Lumen product expertise in either connectivity / transport, voice, and/or over-the-top services
Program or Project Management certification
Process Architecture or Process Engineering certification
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
