Job Title: Senior Electrical EngineerJob Description

Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform detailed analyses to assess designs' or applications' feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.

• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.

• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

• Perform detailed analyses to assess designs' or applications' feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.

• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

• Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and other engineering design software.

• Electrical design experience from scratch, with everything custom designed per client.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components.

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to provide input on projects and be creative.

Work Environment

Onsite 5 days a week schedule as followed: Monday - Thursday: 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday: 7:30AM-1:30PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The company supports a variety of industries, including Oil, Electric, Solar, Aerospace, etc. Fridays are from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Employees receive a week off between Christmas and New Year's. The company provides employee uniforms, including polos and shirts, and encourages a casual work environment (jeans encouraged). The company fosters a strong employee culture with numerous company-sponsored events such as picnics and an annual baseball game where employees can bring their families. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69
