Our Education Practice Area seeks an Implementation Specialist 1 for our Northeast Region. This is a remote position with some travel possible.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Maintains and monitors all office networks and technologies, including diagnostic/troubleshooting any network related issues using automatic and manual monitoring
· Prioritizes and escalates issues to PCG level 2 and 3 support as defined in governing
procedures
· Performs periodic architecture reviews and updates
· Documents all network and voice configurations
· Follows best practice ITIL process, seeking continuous improvement of systems and
processes.
· Acts proactively to identify areas for improvement
· Records and tracks support incidents and requests. Escalate if necessary, and ensure that all
decisions and actions taken, through to final resolution have been captured
· Tests fixes to ensure that problems have been adequately resolved
· Reviews IT vendor's proposals and invoices to ensure that contracted services are being
delivered and managed in the most cost-effective manner possible
· Researches and recommends software, hardware, and tools to meet business objectives
· Assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, or solutions
Learns web-based technologies and leads clients through implementation and training
processes
· Drafts updates to training manuals and other end-user documentation
· Assists end-users with support inquiries utilizing multiple platforms
· Coordinates with team if end-user inquiries need to be escalated
· Assists in conducting online and on-site trainings
· Assists team in developing specifications and testing technical development tasks
· Assists in developing presentations for client stakeholders
· Uses database management systems to gather and analyze data
· Works within a team to accomplish other duties on projects to meet necessary deadlines
· Manages PCG’s converged communications infrastructure through day to day hands-on tasks
Required Skills
· Strong Analytical Skills, research and problem-solving skills
· Excellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills
· Ability to manage time to meet critical deadlines
· Ability to work independently with a team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or related field equivalent experience
1 + years of similar work experience preferred
Certifications: Cisco, CCNA, CCNP, (CCIE preferred, not required)

Work off-hours or be on-call as required

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $50,000 -$62,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
