A s a Insurance Verifier in our Munson Medical Oncology , you will support Oncology Services by performing various insurance related functions.
You will experience a wide array of different tasks and responsibilities which can include insurance verification both online and by phone, identif y and document patient financial responsibility, refer patients to financial counselors to obtain financial assistance and much more!
You will be part of a supportive team! - Our clinics are close-knit teams that encourage each other every day.
What’s Required:
2 years formal education or equivalent experience, Associates degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in customer service, healthcare or business field required with an additional 1.5 years in healthcare or insurance industry for a total of 2.5 years experience .
Medical Terminology required or successful completion of medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.
