Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our team in Towson, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for handling outsourced and family office accounting tasks, utilizing QuickBooks, preparing financial statements, and overseeing fixed assets. You will also play a key role in performing bank reconciliations and managing payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Manage outsourced accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform family office accounting tasks, paying close attention to detail.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements adhering to accounting standards.

• Oversee the management of fixed assets, ensuring proper records are kept.

• Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Manage payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.

• Execute month-end close procedures. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accountant role or similar

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger management, Journal Entries and Month End Close procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is desirable

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
