The Job:

As the Associate Product Manager position you will be part of the Nail & Stapling team working as a hybrid employee. In this role you will support projects and initiatives that will help drive growth in a core category within the DEWALT brand.

  • Manage and grow existing business: create plans to increase sales of existing categories and identify cost reduction/value improvement opportunities.

  • Build a strategic product plan for several categories within the Nailing & Stapling portfolio including developing and/or updating the 3-year product road. This will require situational assessment, competitive overview, strategic goals, portfolio analysis, and action plans.

  • Lead the cross functional team throughout the entire lifecycle of product development. This includes the ability to facilitate and coordinate a diverse group of teams including engineering, channel, brand, graphics, sourcing, manufacturing, legal, finance, supply, and quality teams.

  • Develop project schedules and review with your manager to leverage experiences for how to eliminate wasted time and gain insight of the opportunities that will speed delivery.

  • Actively communicate status of projects to all project stakeholders, including cross functional teams and senior management.

  • Develop all marketing materials including packaging, presentations, merchandising, and other collateral to commercially launch new products.

  • Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis which drives product positioning in marketplace relative to competition and margin targets.

  • Work closely with the global team to deliver projects that drive new product development in EANZ and GEM.

  • Prepare financial analysis for portfolio evaluation and decision making.

  • Participate in forecasting/capacity planning with channel, sales, and supply chain.

  • Perform competitive tracking analysis and market data collection.

  • Create and execute end-user-based research to build a clear understanding of all relevant product applications becoming the product expert for all categories.

The Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.

  • 3+ years of sales/marketing experience; Field sales, Product or Channel Marketing experience preferred.

  • Consumer Goods or industry experience preferred.

  • High proficiency with Power Point, Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and BW.

  • Ability to travel for business including work on residential and commercial jobsites is required.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $49,500 - 89,0 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
