HVAC Designer

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for a HVAC Designer with strong knowledge of industrial, commercial, or residential HVAC systems with interest in engineering design work. This could also be a good fit for a recent graduate of a CAD training program. You will work with, and be mentored by, Senior Designers at the site that are capable of teaching the CAD software and acting as a resource for any technical questions.

This is a long-term contract position in the Towanda/Wysox, PA area. No Per Diem or relocation is offered.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Experience in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Design for power, oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical / industrial, commercial or residential projects

• AutoCAD or MicroStation preferred

• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and implement multiple, concurrent projects or activities.

• Good communication & documentation of work products are essential
