Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality management system by integrating and developing processes that meet business needs across the organization. The candidate will maintain third-party certifications, including AS9100, and manage internal quality issues to ensure they are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the quality management system.

• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant certifications.

• Manage and resolve internal quality issues promptly.

• Integrate and develop processes to meet business needs across the organization.

• Handle internal, customer, and supplier quality issue resolution.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering.

• Experience with AS9100, quality management, and supplier quality.

• Knowledge of quality management systems, engineering, and quality assurance.

• Proficiency in root cause analysis and quality control.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BA degree highly preferred but not required.

• Sheet metal experience highly preferred.

• Experience with internal, customer, and supplier quality issue resolution.

• Experience with companies such as Boeing, Bombardier, Gulfstream, or Moog is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop type setting that is very hands-on. The role will also involve spending time on the computer, with a 50/50 split between hands-on work and CPU tasks. The company offers a small, tight-knit environment with opportunities for growth, having grown 15% last year. It is financially backed by Verus Aerospace, which has multiple locations.
