Aerotek on behalf of its client is seeking qualified Quality Inspectors for an aircraft manufacturer in Torrance, CA. Must have prior relevant QA/QC experience to be considered. Strong tenure on resume is a must. Pay range $25-35/hour DOE, pay raises every 6 months. Hiring ASAP.

• Inspectors conduct inspections during the production process using pre-determined methods during the manufacture and/or repair of aircraft to ensure products meet prescribed quality standards

• Perform quality assessment of in-process parts, assemblies & installations using drawings, inspection planning & specifications

Qualifications

• Ability to measure product dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, scales, and other precision measuring devices

• Thoroughness and attention to detail along with the ability to work with limited supervision

• Basic mathematic skills to include but are not limited to: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra and geometry for performing inspection setups and dimensional layout

• Good communication skills, verbal and written, to provide descriptive reports of non-conformances

• Full compliance with the company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program
