Description
Job Duties:
System analysis for new and ongoing projects and system enhancements following standard SDLC methodology (Agile Waterfall) and key deliverables.
Facilitate workshops and data analysis meetings, including business process and workflow.
Gather, refine, and validate complex business requirements into an organized and prioritized backlog.
Occasionally oversee the project plan, tasks, and status progress reports.
Co-ordinate, schedule, and chair meetings with multiple stakeholders and manage meeting minutes.
Support production systems as required.
Develop and execute test cases, white-box/black-box, involving complex batch and online processing.
Create and distribute presentation and communication materials for varied stakeholders, including business units.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Technical Competencies:
Basic knowledge of business requirements and corporate priorities.
The capacity to gather and refine complex business requirements and make informed decisions on business requirements and interdependencies.
Ability to formulate complex business cases.
Advanced ability to conduct impact analysis and develop recommendations.
Comprehensive knowledge of compliance governance structures and audit principles.
Understanding of the business architecture and its relationship with other architectures.
Capacity to evaluate corporate changes and present strategies to senior management.
Additional Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to analyze company operations to understand strengths and weaknesses, suggesting opportunities for process automation and functions. Efficiency in business process redesign and documentation for new technologies, high-level business requirements translation into functional specifications for the IT team. Strong negotiation and communication skills, solid understanding of how to align technology solutions with business strategies., support for moderately complex business processes, and good coaching skills for less experienced staff members.
Responsibilities may also include occasional project management, conducting feasibility studies for cost/benefit analysis, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business issues.
