Contract duration = 6 months with possibility to extend based on performance

This position is fully ONSITE in Torrance, CA

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay: up to $50/hr based on experience

What will you be doing as an Energy Systems Test Technician ?

• Perform development, testing and internal performance-to-specification validation of company’s EVSE product line up. Additionally, competitive benchmarking of commercially available EVSEs will be performed.

• Work within company’s EVSE Laboratory Safety Procedures, the Test Technician works with Engineering personnel to prepare test apparatus, laboratory equipment, test plans and data collection to assess and document the system(s) under test.

• Work with Engineers to compile and report the test results in concise and easy to understand formats.

• Be responsible for organizing and maintaining data repositories for all Test Plans, Test Procedures, Equipment Calibration history and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.

• This position supports commercialization of company’s EVSE product portfolio using state-of-the-art test equipment and collaborative vendor engagement with manufacturers of power processing and measurement systems.

Required Skills:

• Background in operating power electronics testing equipment

• Understanding of dangers of working on high voltage products

• Knowledge of communication standards used with charging products

• Must have can-do-attitude, be proactive and willing to learn.
