Robert Half has a client in Torrance, CA that is hiring an AV Tech that will lead their efforts in developing, implementing and improving their video conferencing solutions across the US. This position is based in Torrance and might require some minimal travel. This is a long term stable opportunity within an fantastic company.

AV Tech

Schedule: Traditional Business Hours.

Term: 12 month contract with option for extension

Pay: $53.50 - $58.50 per/hr. on W2 depending on experience and certifications.

Daily Scope of Job:

· Support AV related incidents, perform systems and AV checks related to MS Teams Rooms, MTR.

· PC, Laptop, Peripheral hardware troubleshooting and break/fix for presentations, conference calls, video conferencing, etc..

· Remote troubleshooting of conference AV devices for MS Teams Conference Rooms

· Escalate and schedule service calls with vendor or installations of AV equipment.

· Will be managing efforts and vendors to update conference rooms with new AV equipment to work with Microsoft Teams Rooms, MTR

· Troubleshooting, projectors, conference systems, and other AV packages, for onsite conference rooms.

· IT incident tracking, and documentation in ITMS tool.

· Create or update documentation and diagrams of AV designs.

· Company will be implementing MS Teams Rooms in 100 new conference rooms and will be part of a small team supporting MTR across 300+ conference rooms in the US.

· Need to provide white glove treatment to end users and fellow employees. Our client promotes a positive workplace and culture.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of AV Tech experience with video conferencing, polycom, projectors, screens, smartboards and other conference room technology.

• Experience with design and installation of new AV packages to include smart screens, projectors, polycom or conferencing systems.

• Must have experience supporting and configuring MTR-Microsoft Teams Rooms

• AV Lead Tech or some project management experience is preferred.

• Experience with research and procurement process for IT or AV equipment.

• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills to create comprehensive IT and AV documentation.
