Insight Global Senior Product Owner, Data Enablement in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

A leading bank in downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Data Enablement to join their digital banking team on a hybrid basis. They will be responsible for leading the management & coordination of the Compass data ecosystem to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, product delivery, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions and a passion for leveraging data to create business value.

They will support and coordinate the following areas:

  1. Sales & Funnel Performance: Optimize sales performance and funnel reporting to support strategy and enable data-driven decisions across omni-channel platforms.

  2. Behavioral Analytics & Frontline Adoption: Improve frontline adoption, remove points of friction, and streamline flows using Pyze.

  3. Platform Performance: Enhance reporting capabilities for platform Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).

Key Responsibilities:

Data Enablement Strategy & Vision:

  Define and communicate the vision and strategy for data enablement with the Compass Leadership Team.

  Align goals with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

  Prioritize the data product backlog based on business value and impact.

  Collaborate with data teams to understand and communicate customer impacts across omni-channel platforms.

Product Delivery:

  Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of data products, from ideation to launch.

  Collaborate with various teams to develop and drive data and reporting capabilities.

  Ensure data needs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  Maintain and enhance dashboards, including the removal and updating of outdated dashboards

Stakeholder Management:

  Act as the primary liaison between key stakeholders and the Compass Product team.

  Gather and prioritize data requirements and support timely estimation.

  Communicate updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

  Lead and facilitate internal ceremonies, including meetings and training sessions, and present monthly updates.

Data Governance & Quality:

  Champion and enforce data governance policies and best practices.

  Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all data products.

  Monitor and improve data quality through continuous feedback and iteration.

Performance Measurement:

  Support reporting for KPIs, OKRs, and other success metrics.

  Analyze product performance and user feedback for continuous improvement.

  Report on product performance and impact to senior leadership.

Skills and Requirements

Experience Required: 6+ years total experience (PO and Data analyst combined)

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis.

Proficiency in dashboard maintenance and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management platforms.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft tools.

Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and training sessions effectively.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse stakeholders. Previous Banking experience null
