Manulife Senior Power Platform Developer in Toronto, Ontario

As a Senior Power Platform Developer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team's mission: Deliver the most capable, governed, and compliant service at Manulife. You will craft and refine enterprise-level applications. Your efforts will demonstrate the versatility of the Power Platform in developing tools while ensuring seamless integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform including Azure services where required to extend the administrative, governance and hygiene capabilities of the Power Platform to the next level.

  • Deliver detailed documentation of solution design, configuration, and customization specifications.

  • Exercise creative problem-solving skills when performing end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and end-user support.

  • Drive continuous improvement through good documentation, adherence to agile methodology, and commitment to measuring success.

  • Be an active member of the Center of Excellence by staying up to date on the Power Platform and proactively participating in efforts to document and promote best practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a financial institution or regulated industry.

  • At least 4 to 5 years + of experience in developing and deploying solutions with Power Platform (particularly Power Apps, Power Automate or Dynamics).

  • A deep understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse & Power BI.

  • Strong development and integration skills of Azure Services.

  • Experience with web application development using .Net\C#\React\typescript.

  • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and enjoy solving problems.

  • Excellent communication skills and project management skills.

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD
