DoorDash Senior Associate, Consumer Promotions Strategy in Toronto, Ontario

The Consumer Promotions Strategy team utilizes insights from data and hypothesis on consumer behavior to conceptualize, launch and optimize highly visible promotional campaigns that acquire, activate and retain consumers on the DoorDash platform across in-app and CRM channels. We own performance metrics related to incremental volume and efficiency from promotions and manage the overall promotional budget for Canada.
About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. Associate to guide our consumer promotional campaigns and engage our consumers. You will execute highly visible consumer campaigns across in-app and CRM channels to drive growth for the business and work to improve them through testing and experimentation. We analyze a variety of consumer data to obtain insights that inspire engagement and reasons to use. We couple this with creative thinking to launch innovative and compelling promotions for our consumers.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Promotion Strategy on our Consumer Retention Marketing team.

Solve one of the company's hardest challenges: create meaningful and innovative promotional offers targeted to consumer cohorts to accelerate growth
Work with complex data sets to develop strategic and data-driven consumer promotional plans
Develop and execute promotional strategies and drive their implementation end-to-end. Run experiments and A/B tests to glean insights and optimize campaigns
Monitor campaigns’ performances and pivot when necessary to achieve campaign or wider business goals
Work on cross-functional programs with Strategy & Operations (S&O), CRM, Analytics, Product and Brand Marketing to build creative solutions to enhance outcomes

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
3+ years of experience in pricing and promotions, growth marketing / marketing analytics, management consulting or business analytics
Advanced SQL skills (can write query from scratch to pull data)
Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions)
You can see the big picture of “why” and execute at the lowest level of detail to fully achieve the objectives
Dug into details of large data sets and possess the desire to dive headfirst into solving complex problems
Translated data into applicable insights in the past
You possess a strong bias for action and can balance accuracy with speed

Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

British Columbia Pay Range:
$85,500 — $107,000 CAD
