The opportunity
SAP Technical Analyst (ABAP)
Full time, permanent
Hybrid
Scarborough, Ontario
This position will provide SAP technical & functional support at Teva Pharmaceuticals which includes SAP development, configuration and functional support in SAP ECC with expertise in SD, FICO and MM. This position will be based in Toronto, reporting to the IT Commercial Organization in Canada and will be supporting Vistex user community in Finance and Commercial departments of Teva US and Canada.
How you’ll spend your day
Provide technical/functional support for all Canada and US Vistex Revenue Accounting, Revenue Management and Royalties Management including:
Billbacks & Chargebacks, Sales Incentives and Sales Rebates
Accruals and Settlements both transactional and composite
Royalties
Claims, Transactions, Memberships, Flexible Group, Status Flows and Territories
DMP and DMR
SAP HANA and SAP FIORI
SAP Functional Modules (FM), Sales and Distribution (SD)/ Finance (FI)/ (MM)
BI knowledge
Solution design and system configuration
ABAP development with SAP and Vistex technical knowledge
SAP Transport management
Proficiency in RICEFW
Workflow and integrations with SAP modules and other Commercial systems connected via middleware
Lead application testing including regression testing, integration testing, etc.
Documentation of functional and technical specifications documents and implementation
Production support including performance analysis, debugging issues, identifying root cause and providing timely problem resolution, including job scheduling/execution/monitoring
Work according to Teva methodologies and guidelines, as well as development best practice
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures
Lead, participate in meetings
All other duties as assigned
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
Minimum 5 years in SAP ABAP development and coding standards with hands on experience in WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms) BADIs and APIs, IDOCs, SAP UI5 and ODATA Services and other SAP development tools
Minimum 5 years of overall functional SAP SD/FI/MM experience
Vistex experience considered an asset
Minimum of 2 end-to-end implementation experiences
Production Support experience
Strong knowledge of SAP Pricing
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong technical integration experience with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Finance (FI) and other modules in SAP
Knowledge in various middlewares is preferred: SAP-PI, Tibco, DataStage, informatica, RDA-QG
Experience in preparing functional/technical design specification documents, technical requirements traceability, BRD (business requirements document), Use case diagrams and Business flow documents based on the requirements, per Teva standards and ensure the development work is in compliance with the specifications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand SPDD and SPAU observations in case of upgrades and provide recommendations
Pharma industry experience is preferred
