What You’ll Be Doing
The Consultant, Application Development is responsible for leading the functional design and development of application solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals. Design & Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals. Manage daily support and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements. Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.
Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow. In addition, collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, product development and operations, to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance

How you'll succeed
Design and development - Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations. Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code. Responsible for developing custom applications and code, Lightning Components, Apex, Triggers, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.
Strategic planning - Assist with scoping and planning of various BBPT related projects and initiatives, Integrations and/or Connectors between nCINO/Salesforce.com and other applications.
Leadership skills - Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

You can demonstrate experience in:
Proficient with Salesforce development including Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce security models
Strong Salesforce platform understanding including its imposed limitations and best practices, with experience in testing and tuning applications.
Experience with relational database logical and physical modelling and implementation (DDL) and expertise in DB core concepts (e.g. transactions, isolation levels and rollbacks) and SQL queries (DML).
Knowledge of web development technologies including JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Hands on experience developing applications using JAVA, and popular frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring REST, and Git code repository techniques.
Expertise in API development including HTTP protocol, Microservices, REST, Authentication and authorization techniques (OAuth grants, JWT, TLS, Scopes), JSON data modeling
Advanced knowledge of object oriented analysis and design patterns and UML diagrams
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
