Canadian Tire Merchandise Capabilities Consultant in Toronto, Ontario
What you’ll do
Collaborate with team members to support project, program, and change management workstreams to meet objectives for key merchandising capability initiatives
Participate and facilitate meetings and workshops with key stakeholders to document requirements, and analyze current state information
Act as a subject matter expert in change management and merch capabilities, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams
Create slides and presentations, delivering content to various audiences across merchandising
Support change management by understanding the current state and contrasting this to future state, providing visibility to future state processes and changes to all stakeholders
Support business testing and development of new capabilities and processes
Analyze data to provide meaningful insights that drive projects towards a successful outcome
What you bring
Experience in Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field, considered an asset
Experience in Project or Program management, considered an asset
Proficiency in Change Management, driving successful adoption of new processes and technologies, considered an asset
Creative problem solver who is not afraid to invite new ideas/perspectives to find solutions and alternative approaches
Adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to adjust and embrace change between tasks or projects
Skilled analytical abilities to gather and analyze data for informed decision-making
Effective communication and presentation skills to collaborate with diverse teams
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to team-oriented goals
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Experience with Project Management Tools (Visio, JIRA, Confluence), considered an asset
