Manulife Manager, Procurement Strategy in Toronto, Ontario
This position is an integral part of the procurement strategy and transformation team and will be responsible for strategic procurement transformation initiatives. In this role you will develop and implement key strategic initiatives and business cases to achieve the overall business unit objectives. In this role, you will also collaborate with Sourcing Managers and providing business intelligence to enhance data driven business decisions to achieve our goals.
Position Responsibilities :
Conduct benchmarking and opportunity assessment to achieve business unit goals
Suggest and make changes in existing processes and metrics to increase efficiency & effectiveness
Develop business cases for procurement transformation incl. GenAI use cases
Engage with partners to increase data driven decision making
Identify and develop key performance metrics and dashboards
Provide sourcing thought leadership
Create presentations for executive leadership
Manage relations with key business partners and project owners to develop/maintain strong working relationships
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Post graduate degree (business/ analytics preferred)
5+ years of progressive business experience in consulting and/or sourcing and procurement
Good knowledge of data analysis
Experience in developing operational strategies
Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in previous strategy consulting role will be preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent presentation and report writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally, comfortable with multi-tasking
Familiar with Manulife’s business operations, strategies, and financial environment

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
