What You’ll Be Doing

As an integral part of our Open Banking Innovation team, the Manager, Open Banking will report to the Director, Open Banking Strategy. You will be responsible for the management of all aspects associated with the production, operations and business support of applications which support Open Banking Business.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Oversee Operations - Manage the day-to-day operations of Open Banking applications, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Evaluate feasibility of short/long term options for solutions for our clients. You will also champion specific solution maintenance or enhancements that are driven for competitive reasons or are regulatory in nature.

  • Process Improvement - Work closely with key business and technology partners identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies are maintained in all aspects of the application management.

  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring - Provide regular reporting to Functional Manager/Project Manager/Business Consultant. Represent Personal Banking Products during testing by validating the Test Strategies, Test Requirements and Test scripts. Participate in Variance Management ensuring testing variances are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Communication - Clearly communicate service issues and their business impacts to all affected parties, ensuring transparency and understanding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives. Additionally, Regularly update stakeholders on project status, issues, and resolutions.

  • Collaboration - You will maintain ongoing productive relationships with Stakeholders, Senior Management across CBIC Digital & Open Banking Business Partners such as Legal, Compliance, Project Management Office, Technology, Channels, Client Experience, Business Controls, and GORM.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 2 to 3 years of work experience in delivery environment. Its an asset if you have work experience in the financial industry or open banking.

  • You have a strong working knowledge of product policies and procedures in a complex segmented environment. You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Work, Excel, Outlook, Project and Visio.
