Professional Practice is the "foundation" and operations for Global Audit and consists of high performing teams that focus on Strategy, Operations, Audit Methodology, Audit Technology, Talent/People programs, Business Management, Regulatory and Reporting/Analytics.

Job Description / Accountabilities:

  • This manager role is an important member of the Business Management Audit Technology team and reports to the Senior Manager, Business Management Audit Technology.

  • Business Management Audit Technology is a team that resides within the Audit business and provides technical support for all the Divisions related technology which includes any required configuration of Audit's electronic working paper system.

  • Accountabilities including, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents.

  • Support complex applications, systems development, configuration, testing, debug, and documentation.

  • While this role is not a direct people manager position there is an expectation that this role will act as the "manager in charge" and provide ongoing mentoring, feedback, leadership support and oversight of key processes and projects within the Division.

  • As a subject matter expert in Audit related technology contribute and lead complex, business-specific projects and initiatives and play an instrumental role in identifying, designing, and testing solutions and supporting their implementation.

  • Plan, lead, manage and/or oversee a diverse set of activities and integrate them effectively.

  • Assess, identify, escalate key issues appropriately and recommend actions.

  • Take business requirements, then develop functional, technical and solution designs for an application and/or system.

  • Support management of products, systems, applications, and services for the Audit Division to support them in meeting business objectives and goals.

  • Assist in other operational activities for the Audit Division, as needed, including identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

  • Work in close partnership with various stakeholders to meet needs of the Audit Division.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.

  • 7+ years relevant experience.

  • Expertise in development, configuration, testing, application support, data analysis and reporting techniques.

  • Proven technical support including operations is highly valued.

  • Minimum 3 years’ technical experience working with SharePoint Online & Office 365.

  • Solid understanding of SharePoint Online, Office 365, One Drive, SharePoint workflows, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Prior experience with SharePoint Migrations to provide guidance, expertise on the migration of various workloads/content to SharePoint Online and resolve outstanding issues post migrations.

  • Prior experience with Connected Risk, Archer, Jira, and Confluence is highly valued.

  • Working experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and related foundational knowledge and best practices.

  • Ability to work autonomously as a lead within a specialized business management function and provide work direction, seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and guidance to various stakeholders and team members.

  • Willingness and strength in providing guidance and influencing multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives.

  • Aptitude in exercising sound judgment while making decisions.

  • Strong collaboration facilitation skills, be able to work with teams to understand requirements, provide solution recommendations and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

  • Excellent relationship management skills with strong technical/business acumen and ability manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Audit related experiences is beneficial but is not required.
