In addition to our e-commerce business we're growing our retail presence directly and through partnerships with chains across North America. That's why we need to grow our Retail Operations team and add a couple new Fulfillment Associates (one full time, one regular part time) Both of these roles will start off as 6 month contracts and we expect they could both turn into full time roles later in the year if this n business keeps growing the way it has been
The Role:
Working as part of the Retail/Wholesale team our Fulfillment Associates primarily responsibilities focus on supporting the other members of the operation Retail wholesale team in delivering on client orders. Reporting our Logistics and Inventory Manager, we're looking for a hard worker with with some experience packing and shipping complex orders to major retailers who understands the kind expectations those clients have .
What you'll be doing:
Processing POs, including pulling inventory, labeling, packaging, counting, and packing items for shipment if needed and ensuring the product meets the quality requirement of each account.
Receiving and stocking inventory related to wholesale orders (Outsourced and in-house products)
Cross-reference if the supplies and products received (internal and external) are as per the order and in proper condition
Under the guidance of management, coordinate work tasks for assigned teams and ensure they are available to perform required work
Monitor team performance and motivate team members to ensure operational goals.
Provide on-the-job training to team members and communicate customers' specific requirements along with the manager
Ensure established procedures are followed, and propose job methods when needed
Performing regular inventory checks of the sticker and supplies, and maintaining a record of the same
Create Shipping documents (Packing Slips for all Retail Accounts)
Liaise with other departments as required to work collaboratively to achieve the Retail goals.
Who you are:
College Graduate with 1-2 years experience in a relevant role (B2B preferred over B2C)
Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to read and interpret written work orders.
Organizational skills to manage multiple orders at a time without errors
Ability to manage their time effectively to complete all orders within a set timeframe
Flexible to work weekends (this is a M-F role but this happens occasionally)
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Strong work ethic capable of working within a team or independently
Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Able to lift up 45 lbs.
