Industrial Refinery Supervisor

Job Must Haves

• 10+ years Heavy industrial experience

• 10+ Years of supervisory experience

• Relevant operating plant experience (petro-chemical or refinery)

• Demonstrated technical knowledge/understanding of refinery processes

Job Duties

• Start off with shift handover from the previous supervisor

• Conduct production meetings and deliver safety messages

• Schedule day-to-day activities for the operators

• Escalate and manage risks appropriately

• Perform audit checks, troubleshooting, and documentation

• React to incidents and manage people issues on the floor

• Spend 75% of the time in the refinery and 25% in the office

• Oversee performance management and capability development of on-shift operators

• Promote safe and respectful behaviors and ensure safety and environmental performance standards are met

• Lead and/or participate in incident investigations

• Monitor and optimize operations to meet production, quality targets, and efficiency

• Respond to community concerns/complaints and inform the appropriate regulatory body as required

• Facilitate communication within the plant

Shift

• Monday to Thursday

• 12 hour shifts

• 2 days, 2 nights - 4:30am - 4:30pm/4:30pm - 4:30am

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
