Job Description:

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead and execute on analytics projects to support the ATM business. The successful candidate will participate as an analytics SME in ATM projects teams, liaison with data, reporting and other AI2 partners to provide analytics thought leadership and responsible for the delivery of analytics products. A key focus of the role is to become a trusted analytics partner for ATM business partners and acts as the first point of contact for all analytics, reporting and AI/ML needs. An ideal candidate should have strong technical and analytical background in analytics along with stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business partners and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate into actionable analytics tasks, considering the data available, collaborations needed from other teams and value impact to TD.

  • Work with data, reporting and other analytics partners to design suitable analytics solutions for the business with future scalability in mind.

  • Maintain and continuously refine existing analytics products supporting BAU activities, Investigate any issues and update these products as the business needs evolve.

  • Perform critical data quality checks/validations prior to any analytical tasks to ensure high quality work can be develop to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Obtain a solid understanding of data coming from various applications, systems, business hierarchy and key metrics in ATM to enable quality and feasibility of analytical advice to the business

  • Identify opportunities for automation and performance improvements within analytical projects.

  • Maintain documentation of BAU or critical processes to ensure governance and risk compliance and business continuity.

  • Use SQL, R, Python, Databricks, Microsoft Azure and Office applications to perform analytical tasks and present results to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or a related role, preferably within a contact center environment or financial institution.

• Strong expertise in SQL, R, Python, Databricks, Microsoft Azure and Office applications with hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments.

• Proven ability to apply statistical and mathematical theories to business

• Experience in working with complex data structures and processes in multi-business environments.

• Good understanding of the value creation chain for banking industry, and in particular how contact centre can contribute.

• Subject matter expertise on contact center processes, operations, organizational structures, key business functions and performance metrics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

• Excellent communication skills for translating statistical theories to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with channels data and related data hierarchies.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data frameworks.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple business units
