Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a Cutover Specialist to join their team. As a Cutover Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cutover Specialist

Location: North York, ON

Job Description:

  • Develop detailed cutover plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies for successful system transitions.

  • Conduct readiness assessments to ensure all pre-cutover tasks are completed and systems are prepared for transition.

  • Manage and oversee the execution of cutover activities, ensuring adherence to the cutover plan.

  • Verify system functionality and data integrity after cutover to ensure a successful transition.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cutover plans, procedures, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT project management or system cutover activities.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with documentation and reporting processes related to system transitions.
