Corporate Health Services (CHS) – Corporate Physician, Full-time, Temporary Position (16-18 months)
Pay Structure: 100% OHIP billings (fee for service arrangement), no cost-share split. A stipend would also be included.
Number of patients: Up to 30 patients per day
Term: 16 to 18 months
Location: Toronto & Peel region
Timings: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Reporting to the VP & Chief Medical Officer, the Corporate Physician provides advanced primary care to Rogers employees who visit Rogers Corporate Health Services. Additionally, the Corporate Physician will support the development of programs and resources to protect and enrich the physical and mental well-being of all Rogers employees.
This position is a full-time, temporary position (16-18 months) , to support a maternity leave in CHS. The primary locations would be 333 Bloor St East (Toronto, 8:00am-4:00pm) & 8200 Dixie Road (Brampton, 7:30am-3:30pm). The successful candidate must be able to commute to both locations, as well as additional locations as necessary, for the timelines specified, independently.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide primary care and referrals to Rogers employees, including WSIB consulting, as needed
Facilitate timely and high-quality medical care
Provide leadership and education in holistic care
Continue to comply with all OHIP/medical practices
Support the operation of the on-site Rogers Health Centres, working in collaboration with other Rogers Corporate Health Services professionals to enhance the provision of quality care
Support the roll-out of updated Rogers Medical policies and practices, including updated patient reporting by site, patient mix, and OHIP billing
Collaborate with other related groups such as Safety & Well-being, Workplace Experience etc. to support the Rogers Employee Value Offering
Work within CHS to improve workflow, empower staff, and creatively improve day-to-day office function
Additional duties as per Medical Chief Officer
What you have:
As a condition of employment, you must hold and maintain an active license to practice medicine in Ontario, have medical insurance through the CMPA, and remain in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work
Exercise initiative and good judgment
Comply with confidentiality requirements
Knowledge of the use of a defibrillator
Current health care provider level CPR and First Aid Certificate
Current Criminal Record check
Have effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate coaching and mentoring skills, as well as excellent presentation and consultative skills
Client service oriented, ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate differences in opinions, backgrounds and characteristics
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in completing work in a timely manner
Excellent customer service skills
Commitment to collaborative practice
Ability to utilize technology programs
