Position Overview

We are looking for a Contract Recruiter to find and attract talented individuals for our Early Career Programs.As part of our global team, you will recruit Interns for technical and non-technical positions in Canada and United States. You will engage and collaborate with hiring managers as well as talent acquisition teams to engage the next generation of talent. You will report to the Senior Early Career Programs Recruiter.

Location: Hybrid (commutable distance from Autodesk Toronto) – ability to work at the Toronto office for intern related events (20% of the time)

Duration / Schedule: 12 months contract position, full time

Responsibilities

  • Create job openings and develop sourcing strategies to attract a diverse slate of talent from universities, partnerships and programs

  • Facilitate all aspects of candidate selection; resume reviews, interviews and selection; Offer Letters and closing strategy

  • Facilitate Internship Programs for Interns resulting in an outstanding Intern experience including management of intern engagement programs

  • Meet with leaders to evaluate conversion candidates upon conclusion of each Intern/Co-op cohort and facilitate offer approval and creation process

  • Partner in the development of campus recruitment brand campaigns and their strategic deployment using social media & branded recruiting collateral

  • Maintain active Intern Alumni Talent Pipelines with former interns and serve as candidate champion

  • Monitor metrics to reflect Return on investment

  • Monitor local industry best practices and provide improvement recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience leading full-cycle Early Career Recruiting (Interns, Co-Ops and New Grads)

  • Capability to manage high-volume application numbers across multiple roles

  • Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems (Workday and Beamery preferred)

  • Knowledge of HR practices and intern employment legislation across Canada

  • Fluent in English and preferably French as a second language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pool hiring

  • Previous multinational tech company experience

  • Creativity, curiosity and passion for process improvement

  • Familiarity with event planning

  • Experience presenting to virtual audiences

  • Familiarity with on campus engagement for intern/graduate positions
