What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Financial Crimes Technology. You’ll be at the heart of a team bringing innovative technology to life as part of CIBC’s digital transformation. As an ETL Developer, you’ll lead the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You’ll build easy, flexible, and personalized banking solutions that enhance client experience and help build the bank of the future.

How You'll Succeed
Design and Development - Lead the design and development of specifications, develop/build code and perform code reviews. Manage changes to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of programs.
Analyzing Business Requirements - Research and analyze business requests and recommend solutions. Collaborate with BAs and BSAs for a full understanding of business requirements.
Coordination - Participate in User Acceptance Testing support to troubleshoot complex issues on application and technologies. Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users and business analysts to provide project status updates.
Leadership Skills - Act as the team lead and run with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.Provide strategic, informed recommendations to senior management, and keep up to date on current technology trends.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 5+ years experience working on Azure Services (Databricks, ADF, ADLS, etc), Cognos, SQL/Azure SQL, SSRS, Tableau. Nice to have: Oracle, Java, JBOSS, .Net and Unix. Have experienced migrating infrastructure to latest currency (Infrastructure upgrades) including migration to Azure Cloud, migration of ETL (Informatica) to Azure ETL. It would be an asset if you have working experience/knowledge of Compliance and Audit businesses.
