Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily carpentry operations on job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Perform high-end carpentry work, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
Read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and technical drawings to execute tasks with precision.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure alignment with the overall vision and design of the project.
Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Manage material orders, inventory, and on-site logistics to maintain efficiency and project flow.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and building codes.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets high standards.
Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and homeowners.
Essential Skills
Master-level carpentry experience
Ability to interface with homeowners
Expertise in finish carpentry, framing, rough carpentry, and commercial construction
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in residential construction
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication skills

Work Environment
The Lead Carpenter will work primarily on high-level residential remodeling projects, often in homes where families are still living. The role involves collaborating closely with designers and project managers, ensuring a cohesive approach to each project.
