Inventory Specialist - Part Time

One position has become available in the Topeka manufacturing facility for inventory control. This is a part-time position; therefore not eligible for benefits. The hours for this position will normally be Friday 3:00pm - 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 11:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am - 7:00 pm, although flexibility is required to cover departmental needs as they arise. Primary duties, skills, and requirements necessary for success in this position are listed below.

PRIMARY DUTIES:\ * Planning and organization of the weekend inventory count activities.\ * Organization and straightening up of the roll-stock area.\ * Weekly physical inventory of raw materials\ * Maintain site pre-printed count sheets to document physical counts\ * Verify discrepancies between dual counts for accuracy\ * Inputting physical count into Oracle\ * Record defective and obsolete material in Oracle\ * Maintain records of all seasoning and non-standards received date for pest control

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:\ * Strong organizational and planning skills.\ * Strong computer skills, experience working in Excel, and other computer programs.\ * Strong math skills\ * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision\ * Oracle experience preferred\ * Ability to work as part of a team and with people of diverse backgrounds\ * Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift \>60lbs.\ * Ability to learn to operate a forklift.\ * Perform other duties as assignedDoes this sound like the role for you?
