Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work primarily in an office setting, with travel to job sites in Kansas two days a week. This role involves completing field investigations, inspections, and writing clear and concise reports and work plans. The candidate will oversee all aspects of environmental due diligence, permitting, and remediation projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field investigations and inspections.
Write clear and concise reports and work plans.
Oversee environmental due diligence, permitting, and remediation projects from planning to execution and reporting.
Manage multiple environmental projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
Act as a point of contact with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
Conduct environmental site assessments, analyze data, and prepare reports to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, including project scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts, to ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those established by the Environmental Protection Agency and applicable state regulatory entities.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring our firm is aware of regulatory changes and best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in geology or a related field.
License to practice geology in the state of Kansas, or the ability to obtain licensure within 4 years of hire.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to job sites in Kansas two days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in gaining professional experience in environmental consulting and/or environmental project management.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
