Overview
Paige, a GCG company, is thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity! We are currently seeking Design Enablement Managers to join our Datacom Solutions team.
As our Design Enablement Manager, you’ll focus on engaging architects, engineers, consultants, and end users to integrate our cutting-edge connectivity products into their design standards and specifications . You’ll work closely with our Regional Sales Directors to ensure seamless handoffs from specification to sales execution.
The Paige Datacom team is at a pivotal stage of growth and this role will be instrumental in ensuring our innovative products, including the Game Changer cable , are integrated into project specs, setting the stage for long-term success. This position requires a deep understanding of design processes, technical knowledge of low-voltage cabling infrastructure, and the ability to foster meaningful relationships across the AEC (Architecture, Engineer, Consultant) and end user community.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement however frequent travel (50% to 75%) will be required for the position.
What you’ll do
Design Advocacy and Influence (80%)
Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, and end users to promote company products in design specifications
Conduct technical presentations, webinars, and design workshops to highlight product benefits and applications
Partner with stakeholders to solve design challenges using the company’s solutions, aligning with project needs and goals
Monitor key projects and provide ongoing technical support throughout the design and specification phases
Collaboration and Market Intelligence (20%)
Collaborate with the Regional Director of Sales to align specification wins with sales opportunities, ensuring smooth transitions and successful project execution
Gather insights on market trends, customer challenges, and competitor activities to share with product management and sales teams
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional forums to establish thought leadership and expand the company’s network within the AEC community
Report on specification activity, including pipeline development and Enablement metrics
What you’ll bring
Minimum of 10 years of experience in related industries (e.g., IT, physical security, BMS/BAS systems)
Proven ability to influence technical specifications and foster strong relationships with AEC professionals and end users
Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage cabling infrastructure and associated standards
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative and collaborative mindset
Background in public speaking or delivering technical training sessions preferable
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
Willingness to travel 50-75%
What we offer
Competitive base salary and annual bonus based on company and individual performance; total annual compensation ranging from $125,000 to $150,000, dependent heavily on experience withlow-voltage cabling infrastructure and knowledge of associated standards / specification processes
