Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem MS/Tele in Toms River, New Jersey

We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join our team for a 13-week assignment, working 36 hours per week. This position requires working every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and may involve floating between various units, including MS/Tele, MS/Neuro, MS/Oncology, MS/Orthopedic, and Observation units. Confirm floating with the traveler.

Requirements
  • Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays - please denote all RTO upon submission.
  • Patient Ratio: 1:6
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH certifications required.
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam and RWJ Stroke CEUs required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
  • 18 beds on the unit with a patient mix including medical conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, diabetes, and cardiac issues. Occasional post-surgical patients may be admitted.
  • Knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, blood glucose monitoring, and telemetry monitoring is highly recommended.
  • General knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, and patient mobility equipment such as hoyer lifts and ambulation aids required.
  • Navy blue scrubs required.
  • Experience with EPIC Charting is necessary.
  • First-time travelers are accepted.
