Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Educator RN for the Develop Innovation & Research department at Community Medical Center. This Educator will oversee the Emergency Department.
Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
Qualifications:
Required:
BSN required; MSN preferred
National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and / or clinical specialty preferred
Recent Emergency Department experience (at least 3 years within the past 5 years)
Strong clinical skills in Emergency Services
Certifications and Licenses Required:
BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day shift, 40 Hours Per Week
Essential Functions:
Mentoring and supporting new staff
Assists with Annual Competencies
Projects, as assigned
Presents various programs
Integral part of the interview team
Support Education department, as needed
