Verdantas is seeking a Survey Staff I. This position will be in the Toledo, Ohio office location .
Responsibilities:
Assist Registered Professional Land Surveyor with land surveying, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, technical, civil engineering design, or provide Project Management
Perform technical surveying and engineering-related work associated with land development projects:
Land Surveying
Processing of survey data – field to finish processing
Preparation of existing conditions base plans in AutoCAD
CAD Drafting assistance
Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
Completion of various land development permitting applications
Attend meetings with surveyors, engineers, and technicians
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, both orally and written, effectively
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required
An associate degree in surveying and/or civil engineering technology from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred
0-2 years of field surveying experience
Demonstrated knowledge of field equipment like Total Robotic Station or other field equipment
Familiarity with AutoCAD, or Civil 3D preferred
Certified Survey Technician desired (CST), or completion of the Fundamentals of Survey exam
Must have a valid driver’s license
