Bridge Engineering Project Manager Job Locations US-OH-Toledo Category Transportation Engineering Type Full-Time Overview As a Bridge/Structural Engineer with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be responsible for leading design and plan development tasks and performing structural analysis and design of a variety of structure types, including highway, railroad and bike/ped structures. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform bridge inspections and load ratings as required. We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the desire to provide management and technical leadership to a talented group of professionals spanning all career levels. Responsibilities: Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver bridge projects, or lead bridge/structural tasks as part of a project team, including plan and report production; Assist in the development of project proposals, scope, and schedules; Help to develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets; Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for a team of bridge/structural engineers; Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines. Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus); Ohio P.E. registration or ability to obtain within 6 months; 7+ years of relevant bridge design experience; Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis; Experience in leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus; Working knowledge of Microstation and/or Civil 3d.
