本ポジションは、アマゾンの入荷、在庫の分散方法から配送までのエンドツーエンドの効率化を推進する役割となります。

アマゾジャパンのサプライチェーン事業部では、そのネットワークの構築を担うメンバーを求めています。

在庫配置はその上流プロセスである入荷・調達方法の影響を受け、在庫後の下流工程である出荷・配送方法に影響を与えるため、サプライチェーン全体を俯瞰的にとらえる必要があります。また同時に持続性、拡張性のある配送サービスの提供には、在庫配置に加えていかに効率よく出荷及び配送できるネットワークを設計できるかが重要となります。アマゾンを利用されるお客様からの注文を、配送サービスやスピード、それに掛かるコスト等の様々な観点から効率化を図ることで、お客様へのより良い購買経験の提供を目指しています。そのためには社内の膨大なデータを分析し、サービス向上とコスト削減のために現状の把握と課題を特定、またその改善活動が必要不可欠といえます。

今回募集するポジションは、さらなるシステムやオペレーションの効率化、コスト削減機会の施策立案及び実行を担っていただきます。

そのため本ポジションはデータ分析のスキル (pivotや関数を使用したExcelによる分析、データ抽出に必要なSQL) が必要となります。またファイナンス部門、販売部門、輸送およびサプライチェーン部門内の他チームと積極的なコミュニケーションを取り、協業を行います（日本語、英語両方）。なおEC、物流、生産などの業務経験者のみならず、データ分析については機械学習による将来の予測など新たなエリアにチャレンジしたい意欲のある方を広く募集します。

This position will play a crucial role in driving end-to-end efficiency in Amazon's operations, from inventory management and distribution to delivery, optimizing the distribution of goods. Amazon's mission is to be "Earth's most customer-centric company," and to achieve this, it invests heavily in expanding a high-quality supply chain network. Emphasizing speed, cost, and quality, Amazon continually evolves beyond traditional SCM network concepts by leveraging technology.

Within Amazon Japan's Supply Chain Operations, we are seeking team members to help build and manage this network. Inventory placement, influenced by upstream processes such as procurement and receiving, impacts downstream processes like shipping and delivery. Therefore, a holistic view of the entire supply chain is essential. Efficient design of the shipping and delivery network, alongside sustainable and scalable delivery services, is crucial. By optimizing from various perspectives such as delivery services, speed, and associated costs based on orders from Amazon customers, we aim to enhance their purchasing experience.

This role will involve analyzing vast internal data to identify current status, pinpoint challenges, and drive improvements for service enhancement and cost reduction. Responsibilities include devising and implementing initiatives to further streamline systems and operations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Proficiency in data analysis skills (Excel analysis using pivot tables, functions, SQL for data extraction) is essential. Effective communication with teams within the finance, sales, transportation, and supply chain departments, both in Japanese and English, will be required. We encourage applicants with experience in e-commerce, logistics, production, as well as those eager to explore new areas such as machine learning for future forecasting through data analysis.

Key job responsibilities

•データに基づいた分析とレポート：アマゾン内の各種データや指標を分析し、利害関係者への情報共有とレポート作成を担当します。 データ分析のためには、アマゾンの複雑なサプライチェーンを理解し、膨大なデータを効果的に取り扱う必要があります。そのため高度な理解力および論理的思考力が求められます。

•配送効率改善の施策立案と実行：分析結果を元に課題を特定し、出荷・配送効率改善やコスト削減を実現するための施策の立案と実行を担当します。他の関係各所と連携を行い、Project Managerの役割を担います。

•在庫配置最適化システム、出荷・配送管理システムの日本への導入 ：各種システムの日本への新規機能導入及び機能拡張プロジェクトをUSの開発チームと協業し、実装、運用まで担当します。全世界のアマゾンで運用されているシステムの開発および改修は一括してアメリカ本社で行われていることが多く、日本で運用されているシステムもほぼ該当します。ビジネスの規模から新しいシステムはアメリカのアマゾン用に立ち上げられ、その後、日本含め全世界のアマゾンに展開されるというプロセスが標準的になっています。新しいシステムの日本への展開の際に、日本特有のビジネス背景を加味し、導入の優先度を判断し、仕様をローカライズしたり、日本のビジネス・オペレーションに与える影響を見極め、ステークホルダーとの調整を行ったりし、導入までの窓口の役割を果たします。日本語及び英語での、立場の違うメンバーとの円滑なコミュニケーション力が求められます。

•出荷・配送管理システムに関するサポート：担当システムに関し、社内ユーザーからの問合せ対応や問題特定の実施を行います。

•中長期計画作成：販売予測データを元にファイナンス部門や輸送部門と協業し、中長期計画を作成。具体的には主に輸送にかかわるデータ（カスタマーへの出荷数量や拠点間での在庫の横持数量）を過去実績を基に、計画、予測数量を作成します。

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience

• 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

• 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

• Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
