Sales:
Ensure the development and execution of detailed sales plans
Foresee market changes and prepare selling strategies accordingly
Identify new business expansion opportunities including distributors and agents and develop plans to realize these opportunities
Provide continuous updates and forecasts on market and sales results and trends
Conducts win/loss analyses to understand key drivers and communicates these concisely and regularly to product, marketing and executive management.
Business Acumen :
Set sales targets and plans
Manage a sales & opex ratio
Create Annual Strategic Plan for sales channel
Foresee forecasting processes
Communication:
Establish strong relationships with KOLs as well as senior management of distributors/agents and manage these relationships proactively
Establish good working relationships with Stryker staff both inside and outside of Japan
Ensure the ability to represent Kanto region in monthly & quarterly reviews to stakeholders both internal and external to Stryker Japan
Experience:
5 or more years’ experience working in a multinational company in medical / pharmaceutical / sales / distribution in expanding commercial roles
Thorough knowledge and success of sales / distribution processes and applied selling / commercial skills
Preferably, already well familiar with the Medical Devices (Electrophysiology) industry and with the key decision makers
Competencies
High communication skills to carry one’s points in constructive and cooperative manners with internal and external stakeholders
Motivation for exercising honest leadership to tackle business issues
Experience of engaging in business case development, or at least intensive discussions with business side, to define and validate the value of the product in the development with skills and knowledge in marketing, strategic planning and/or finance
Knowledge of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and manufacturing for medical device
