Roles & Responsiblities

  • Develop compensation and benefits plans, policies and procedures for Japan

  • Manage the Total Rewards related activities for Japan including Salary Planning, Bonus, Sales & Field Incentives, Benefits, etc.

  • Implement compensation structures in Japan including job mapping, job evaluation, etc. aligned with Otis Global culture and values

  • Develop, recommend, and rollout of approved, new, or modified plans and employee benefit policies

  • Guide employees on expatriate compensation, including relocation

  • Evaluate compensation and benefits trends, market data and benchmark surveys to ensure market competitiveness of all compensation and benefits offerings

  • Work closely with HRBP and other HR COEs to ensure appropriate regional/local design, global consistency, competitiveness, governance, compliance, and best practice

  • Consult with management and HR colleagues on compensation and benefit issues

  • Able to work on Integration projects for Total Rewards initiatives

Qualification

  • Bachelor & above. Science and engineering major background preferred

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Total Rewards function

  • Native Japanese Speaker

  • Fluent English speaking and writing

  • Familiar with Office. Excellent skill on Excel

  • Logical thinking. Open minded. Easily adaptable to changes. Strong ownership. Good communicator.
