Amazon Senior program manager, Contents & App Partner Engagement, Contents & App Partner Engagement in Tokyo, Japan

Description

The Content& App Partner Engagement in Japan is part of the Amazon Devices organization that is best known for our Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Echo, Alexa, and more. Our business connects consumers to the apps and games they love on these devices through our app store and related products. We also support the developers of these apps and games with the mobile commerce services that power unique experiences in their content. Our business in Japan represents one of our largest international marketplaces. Our team is responsible for all in-market activities including Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations.

Our business is looking for a Sr. Operations/Program Manager based in our Tokyo, Japan office who enjoys being independent and hands on to learn and execute across a variety of manual activities such as content testing, language QA, contract approvals, issue tracking, and third-party vendor management. This is not a role for someone who likes to specialize. You are someone who is dedicated to the art of continuous improvement in everything you touch. You do this by learning how to execute a wide range of tasks, perform those tasks with a high degree of confidence, uncover ways to make them more efficient, and then teach others to do the same. You will be working across interconnected internal and vendor systems many of which sit outside of our direct business control, often in other countries. You will deeply understand how these systems and processes work, regardless of organization boundary, in order to deliver results before helping other people in the team do the same better, faster, or cheaper. A successful candidate will thrive in a high expectation culture and embrace ambiguity with critical, analytical thinking.
