JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for managing the digital platform strategy for Marriott’s APEC channels. Key focuses include understanding the APEC market’s buying behavior and market trends to optimize Marriott channels for the APEC market, ensuring the right platform, content, and functionality to support global travel. The position collaborates with both local and global sales and marketing leaders to define optimal content and merchandising for APEC websites, apps, and other platforms. This role also partners with the Global Digitalization team. A key priority is to enhance Marriott’s digital presence and effectiveness in the APEC market.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent

  • 6+ years of experience with an online agency, client services position or related field

Preferred

  • 4+ year experience in digital platforms, quantitative analysis and international business

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Research and analyze the market buying behavior and digital trends to inform strategies.

  • Partner with global digital teams to share insights and learnings, aiding the development of future functionalities on Marriott channels.

  • Identify and manage opportunities to execute digital strategies via local platforms.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders locally and globally to understand and address the needs and opportunities of the local source market.

  • Oversee content and merchandising on Marriott’s direct channels in the local market to ensure alignment with local market preferences.

  • Track and analyze the performance of digital initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction through digital channels.

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns tailored to the local market.

  • Implement advanced SEO and SEM tactics to improve visibility and traffic on Marriott’s digital platforms.

  • Manage paid media campaigns to maximize ROI and reach target audiences effectively.

  • Optimize presence and performance on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) to drive bookings.

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency on digital initiatives.

  • Provide training and support to local teams on digital best practices and tools.

  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and innovations to keep Marriott’s strategies competitive.

  • Ensure all digital activities comply with Marriott’s standards and local regulations.
