Today, more than half of the products sold on Amazon are from marketplace Sellers. Amazon Marketplace has grown into a huge part of Amazon and is still growing at a very fast pace. We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader for New Strategic Seller Recruiting Business for Amazon Fashion Marketplace. New Seller is the life blood of our Marketplace business and makes up a significant portion of both the active seller base and selection contribution. We rely on new Sellers to bring our customers more selection, better pricing and experience. We place great focus on building a healthy new Seller business which determines the future and potential of Amazon Marketplace.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Seller recruiting and the growth through strategic planning and execution with excellence

• Build/evolve the mechanism to accelerate new Strategic Seller recruiting by leading various stakeholders

• Identify growth opportunities. Create plans to achieve those targets and rally the organization to deliver on them

• Hire and develop talent for the team

• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet business goals, and escalate quickly to remove blockers

• Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles in partnership with Finance and the rest of the Amazon organization

• Lead periodic business reviews with senior leadership

• Create effective mechanisms to track key inputs to the business and report closely on their progress

• Bring and lead innovative ideas to further drive new seller recruiting

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience

  • Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global contract negotiation
