In this role you will be part of the Japan leadership team in Marketing Solution business, responsible for overseeing a team of front-line Account Executives and Client Solutions Managers who own the client relationship, develop marketing solutions for our largest, and often most challenging customers. You will be responsible to uncover incremental revenue, optimize campaigns to ensure client objective are met, prove the value delivered to clients such that they grow their investments, and bring insights that help refine client strategy.

As the leader, you will inspire and coach their team of Account Executives and Client Solutions Manager to excel in their role and to accelerate success for our clients. You will create impact outside of your core function by demonstrating excellence in leadership, providing leverage across cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and produce results to help us scale effectively. In this role, you will combine sales leadership, senior client and agency engagement, marketing, and public relations. Drive Revenue & Results

  • Understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of LinkedIn and its value proposition to the advertising community

  • Develop and maintain C-Level agency and client relationships to ensure we deeply understand their business goals and deliver relevant solutions which drive meaningful value and results.

  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to uncover opportunities that drive long-term value for customers

  • Shape and actively lead vertical specific industry engagement and event strategies.

  • Identify, implement and track the Key Performance Indicators to drive the focus of your team to deliver customer value and revenue growth

  • Overseas execution and coordination of team's quarterly plans by explicitly referencing long term strategic priorities

  • Delivers results achieve and defines the potential of the business.

Lead Operational Excellence

  • Effectively builds plan sales strategy for the advertising business in the short term (6-12 months) and long term (2-3 years) for your team that aligns with LinkedIn strategy

  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement your business strategy to ensure your market achieves their goals, across areas like Segment strategy, BU, Quota Setting, Leadership Plans etc.

  • As the market leader, develop and own key relationships with cross-functional leaders around the business

  • Effectively forecast the territory on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Inspires team by role modeling mastery of the role and craft

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the digital advertising or media sales related industry

  • 5+ years of leadership and management experience building and leading sales team, including a track record of developing consultative selling strategies for enterprise clients

  • Business fluency in both Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience at building and running successful sales organizations.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing a portfolio of established, mature account relationships.

  • Strong collaborator that works well cross functionally, across the company, and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and work in a rapidly changing environment, d can embrace rapid change and innovation

  • A high degree of analytical acumen and demonstrated ability to project and assess commercial impact

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to C-level audience

  • Experience in making challenging business decisions, and managing change while delivering growth

  • Ability to prioritize efforts, with a passion for driving excellence and results
